Past & Future Events
Solo Cello recital with Marianne

Thank you to everyone who attended on Sunday 16 February 2020 at Burgh House and Museum in Hampstead. It was a lunchtime programme of music for Solo cello, exploring repertoire from baroque to 20th century and the beautiful sonorous sounds of the cello. Solo works by J.S Bach, Gordon Jacob, Imogen Holst and short works by Slovenian and Hungarian composers. Marianne’s next Live Cello Recital at Burgh House with a live audience will take place on Sunday February 21st 2021 at 2pm. Bookings will open in September 2020.

July 2020: Private home concert: Marianne did a spectacular home concert for my elderly Dad in his garden this summer. My Dad is not a wordy person and when he describes something as an ‘experience of a lifetime’, I know its a memory he’ll carry with him forever. Marianne’s beautiful mini Bach concerto is something we’ll always remember – an absolute pleasure to experience. Thank you so much Marianne. Lorna

August 2020: I have been very privileged to have attended a live cello performance of Marianne‘s, which I thoroughly enjoyed. More recently, through lockdown, I have enjoyed regularly watching Marianne’s Sunday afternoon tea concerts on Facebook. Marianne is a very talented and inspiring musician and I would definitely recommend looking her up! Lucy
